Fare Verde Province of Frosinone thanks the Company Nuova C. Plastica Srl of Camoli Industries Group (BO) for having made available their own technical staff, for customizing its product with Fare Verde’s logo and for making authoritative the proposal for the recycling of vegetable oils in Frosinone Province . Oliplan is a web system for managing and monitoring the collection of municipal and industrial waste. It is an internet service accessed from PCs, tablets and smartphones that, through the NCP electronic board, makes the station smart and allows a better management of the waste collection. In the case brought by Fare Verde, the Oliplan system was customized and applied to the collection station OLIVIA, for the recovery of exhausted vegetable oil produced by households and catering. In essence, the users may be provided with a special tanks of the Ecohouse series, in recycled plastic, designed for the collection of exhausted vegetable oils. The small tank features a special child-resistant cap and a microchip that records the USER ID, the quantity of oil supplied, the time and geographical data; it allows also the opening of the lid to pour the waste oil into the Olivia station. The user finds the nearest station with the web application and after the conferring, he will bring home the canister and can reuse it for the next time. With this method, strongly supported by Fare Verde, users can’t confer with other containers because the cap of the receiving station doesn’t open if there isn’t the die-cast microchip in the tank, that will prevent the transfer of mineral oils. Fare Verde hopes that the Municipalities will consider the suggested method for the collection of waste vegetable oil for the purpose of protecting the environment and to avoid the blocks to the urban waste-water treatment plants. An investment for the saving of all the citizens.
