Mr. Marco Camoli talked always to his sons Gianmarco and Piero, today executives of the company Nuova C.Plastica srl, that he decided to leave his job after a strange event. It was 8,35 a.m. of 15th February 1961 and suddenly the sky began pitch…
Piero and Gianmarco, nothing esoteric: it was the know total eclipse of 1961.
“for our father it was a small signal that convinced him to take the plunge into a project, that he decided to start the year before, underground his house, whit the mame Ca.ma.: little company which realize moulds and littles molded parts.”
What did change ofter the eclipse?
“Mr Camoli Marco decided to found two new companies: C.Plastica (for production) and C.Camoli (for mould building) whit his two brother Carlo and Marco.”
First production?
“Little plastic pieces for third parties, like bottles and flasks. When we had good experience, we change our job.”
For example?
We specialized in larger pieces. Today we produce containers until 100 liters. As regard plastic injection production, we work for automotive, agricultural machinery, mechanical industry. For such item we everything by ourselves: from idea to final production.”
What about your joining the company?
“During our childhood we player there, it was normal for us to work there! From year 2000, we joined the two company into only one “Nuova C.Plastica srl”. We took the management of the company whith our cousin Enrico.”
What about your imprint into the company?
“The environment department, made of used vegetable oil collection containers. It’s the department which grows more quickly.”
You understand the business?
“We really feel the need, as citizens. Our heart always cries when we see used vegetable oil to finish in the environment. Especially oil from houses kitchen!”
Oil from kitchen it’s only a small part…
“Not at all: each year 1.400.000 tons of vegetable oil sre sold on the market. Aroud the 20% of this oil, about 280.000 tons is remaining. 1 lt oil contsminates the sea as four football fields.”
How to do?
“We invented Ecohouse. The idea is very simple: a tank with filtering funnel to be inserted on the handle tank. You collect the oil when it’s cold. You close the tank. You goto the collection point, when it’s full, for emptying it.”
How many people have you convinced?
“We really invented it. But during a fair in Germany, a company asked us to buy it.”
And today?
“We work with the most important multiutilitus and waste collecting company.”
What do you think about future?
“They sre clever canisters, which recognize the user and mark the quality of oil collected 8liters). And for children …. We do several meeting in schools.”
Your biggest satisfaction?
“Finally one day we saw our tank in a chapter of a primary school book.”
